Landscape is the amenity residents see most and value most, and the first to be cut when a contract is squeezed. We maintain it on a seasonal calendar built for Hyderabad's climate — a long dry summer, a heavy monsoon and a short mild winter — rather than watering everything on the same schedule all year.
Maintenance covers lawns, shrub and hedge beds, seasonal flowering, trees, planters, vertical planting and the hard landscape between them. Each has different attention: lawns need mowing frequency matched to growth rather than to the calendar, hedges need shaping before they go woody, planters dry out faster than beds and need their own watering line, and trees need structural attention long before a branch drops on a parked car.
Irrigation is where most community landscapes are quietly lost. A drip line that has been running blocked for a season kills a bed slowly while the water bill stays the same. We check emitters, lines, timers and pressure as a routine item, and where the community uses treated water from its own STP for landscape irrigation, we coordinate with the plant team so quality and supply timing actually match what the planting needs.

The seasonal calendar drives the work. Pre-monsoon is for pruning, drainage clearance in beds and tree inspection, because that is when wind and saturated soil bring branches down. Monsoon is for weed control and drainage watch. Post-monsoon into winter is the planting window for seasonal colour. Summer is a survival regime — mulching, adjusted watering times to early morning and late evening, and shade management for vulnerable species.
Tree care carries a legal and safety dimension the association should be aware of. Tree felling and, in many cases, significant pruning of established trees require permission from the relevant municipal authority, and rules vary by species and location. We advise on what a tree needs, carry out permitted maintenance pruning, and where removal or major work looks necessary we set out the approval route rather than proceeding on a verbal instruction.
